Welcome to the FAQ, here I'll try to answer a few questions about Amino.ad and its mission to improve Amino!
What is Amino.ad?
amino.ad is a website & tool for advertising your Amino groups. I wanted to make a tool that'll help you gather all of your community links into 1 place, 1 link you can share across the inter-web!
It also offers a few days to show off your personality and ways for people to connect with you!
Why Amino?
I want to help Amino thrive, I saw a lot of genuine people on the app in need of ways to improve engagement, resources, and tools.
I may not be directly involved with Amino, but I know I can do more to improve your experience on Amino!
How do I report a community?
amino.ad does not manage communities on Amino, for reports, please contact Amino support!
What username do I use to connect?
This would be your Amino ID (Not your email, or display name)
- Click on your profile picture on Amino at the top left
- Tap on "Edit Profile"
- Click on the
@to copy the username to your clipboard - Use it to connect to your Amino.ad profile
Why the complicated login?
The goal is to have your Amino Ad account directly tied to your Amino account. The website has no access to your Amino credentials, so the only way to authenticate your account is by using this method.
By having your Amino Ad account directly tied to your Amino account, you can keep your profile picture & details up to date, as well as trust the password-less process of the Amino Ad service not having to handle sensitive details!
Can I delete the comment after connecting to my profile?
Yes! You can totally delete the comment after connecting by tapping on your comment, and clicking delete.
How do I report a bug?
If you come across any issues or questions, you can join the following Amino Community c/amino-ad.
Is this website Official?
No, this website is independently maintained!
Do you sell information?
No, there are no details being sold & is all retrieved directly from Amino Services.
What are the rules?
You just have to follow Amino's Terms of Services!
How do I remove a social from my Amino Ad?
Go to the input where you provide the social's @, and leave it empty then click save. It will unset your social!
How can I support Amino.ad ?
The best way to support amino.ad is by actively using and encouraging others to use it! The goal is to help everyone connect easier & help restore the fun times you spend on Amino. For the foreseeable future, the services will be running out of pocket / free, with the hopes & end goal of improving Amino :D
